Thanks for stopping by! I’m Jesse Ryan, the proud owner of The Getaway Bar and your expert guide to creating unforgettable moments. Originally from Long Island, New York, I’ve spent over 20 years in hospitality, curating experiences that range from intimate craft cocktails to lively nightclub atmospheres. My journey has taken me from Austin, Texas, to cities across the U.S., where I opened and rebranded bars and restaurants for luxury hotel brands, always with a focus on excellence and fun.

When Charlotte called, I answered—becoming the Beverage Director for a luxury hotel launch. Now, I’m bringing all of that expertise and passion to The Getaway Bar, where every event feels like a celebration.

When I’m not behind the bar, I’m giving back as a board member of Twirl to the World, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting Charlotte’s LGBTQ+ community. Whether it’s shaking up the perfect drink or supporting a great cause, I’m all in.
