As much as we’d love to be your one-stop shop, North Carolina law says we can’t supply the booze. That’s right—we’re a “dry hire.” But don’t worry, we’ll guide you on how much to buy, where to get it, to ensure you don't over buy or run dry!
What exactly does “dry hire” mean?
“Dry hire” means we don’t sell or provide alcohol. Instead, you bring the goods, and we handle the rest.
How are costs for an event calculated and why are there no prices on your website?
Since every event is as unique as you are, pricing depends on factors like guest count, location, and your specific vision. Yes, liability and alcohol insurance is included with all of our packages. This is mandatory to ensure safety and compliance. Our bartenders are trained to serve guests responsibly, confirm they are of age, and ensure all alcohol is served by The Getaway Bar staff.
